The current scrap metal price is the highest it has been in years so you could be paid for old scrap metal that is on your property. You can get money for steel fencing, old cars, washing machines, fridges, cabinets, roof sheets, whole sheds and pretty much anything else made of metal. You win twice. You could potentially check the Weighbridge of any scrap metal yard, for a small fee, by checking your weight at a Registered Public Weighbridge.

At Top Dollar, if you bring us an amount equal to 5 tonnes of steel or 500 kilos of copper or aluminium Top Dollar will pay for your ticket.

The most common way of getting more money for insulated scrap copper cable is to remove the insulation.

Most common metals are recyclable. Even metals with other contaminants such as plastic, wood, upholstery, and glass can be recycled.

At Top Dollar, we recycle all metals such as whitegoods, cars, sheet and structural steel, copper, brass, aluminium, lead and stainless steel.

No catch! Of course, you will need to have enough scrap metal to cover the costs (2 tonnes which is around 2 medium sized cars) and after that you are able to reap the rewards. You then get paid $200 for every additional tonne you have. Think what you could do with all that extra money.
If you have less than 2 tonnes you can simply bring the scrap to our yard and get paid for the scrap at $200 per tonne. Or ask us to provide a bin and we can deduct the value of your scrap from the cost of the collection. For instance, if you have 3 tonnes then you'll get paid $200, and if you have 10 tonnes you'll get paid $1600. You simply cannot lose. But please act now while the price is this high. This service is not usually available and it is unlikely this offer will last long.
